Tea Tree Oil- has anti-inflammatory properties that heals insect bites and repels insects. Mosquitos hate tea tree oil. All insects hate tea tree smell. The Australian aborigines have been rubbing the leaves of the tea tree on their bodies for centuries to prevent insect bites.
Soybean Oil- has surprisingly demonstrated the ability to repel mosquitos by masking the human smell which directs mosquitos to humans according to tests done in USA.
Coconut Oil- renowned as a traditional insect repellent used in India for hundreds of years in Ayurvedic Science by masking the human smell.
Eucalyptus Oil- is an insect repellent used by the Aborigines in Australia. Also soothes insect bites. The Aborigines have been rubbing the leaves of the eucalyptus plant on their bodies for centuries to prevent insect bites and to keep away mosquitos and flies.
Why did we blend 5 insect repelling ingredients? Most formulations have only one. Because we did not want to take chances of our customers getting bitten by mosquitos. So although it costs a lot more, we managed to put together a powerful but safe mosquito repellent.
